Discover

What is on near you, at a glance

The app opens on Discover: community events near you, filtered by time and category.

  • Time filtersUpcoming, Today, Tomorrow and Weekend.
  • The Now stripEvents happening right now.
  • Everyone / FriendsSee everyone's events or only your friends' plans.
  • Search and saveSearch for events and save them for later.

Events

Going or Maybe

The event page shows what you need to know and makes answering a single tap.

  • Date, address and distanceThe directions button hands the address to your phone's own map app.
  • Going / MaybeSee attendee counts and who is coming.
  • Likes and commentsTalk under the event.
  • ShareShare events and your profile by link; people without the app see a small summary page.

Groups

For people who meet regularly

Create a group and collect its events in one place. There are three privacy levels.

  • OpenAnyone can see and join.
  • ApprovalVisible; join requests are approved.
  • SecretOnly members and invitees can see it.

Friends only

Choose who sees it

Every event is either public or friends-only. Friends-only events reach mutual followers only.

Accounts aged 16-17 can only create friends-only events.

For friends only

People you follow each other with can see it.

Messages

Talk, on your terms

One-to-one and group chats work in real time. Message requests let you choose who you talk to.

  • Direct and group chatKeep in touch after the event.
  • Message requestsFor an adult to chat with a 16-17 account, the teen has to accept a request.

Notifications

Only what you want

There is an in-app notification screen and push notifications, and you can switch each kind on or off.

In 11 languages

The interface comes in 11 languages. Your comments and messages are never sent for translation.
