About
So people actually go out
Gallivanter is a small, focused app that answers "what is on tonight, and who am I going with?"
Mission
Bringing plans and people together
Events and groups are created by the people who use the app. There is no imported catalog or third-party event feed; every event, group and photo comes from a person.
Principles
What we stand for
Simple
Every screen answers one question; we do not add features nobody needs.
Community-made
People make the content; we only make meeting up easier.
Privacy
Nothing tracks you. Personal data is kept in the EU.
Safety first
A 16+ rule, extra protections for 16-17 accounts, reporting, blocking and moderation.
Who runs it
Operated by an individual
Gallivanter is run by an individual, not a company. That keeps it small and focused, and questions are answered by email by the person behind it.
